Tronox Sage Grouse Initiative Receives Environmental Award

Tronox received the Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) 2015 Hardrock Mineral Environmental Award for its Sage Grouse Initiative at a ceremony in Washington, D.C. on November 9. The BLM awards are presented annually to those solid minerals (non-coal) mining projects that have shown responsible and sustainable mineral resource development. Tronox hopes its efforts will serve as a role model for other operators in the Wyoming area.
