What’s the most rewarding aspect of your role?

I love the freedom to show initiative and come up with ideas. I don’t just “watch the shop;” I can really contribute to the solution and enhance the way things work.

How would you describe your role?

As a process engineer, I’m responsible for ensuring the plant operates as it should on a day-to-day basis. Much of my time is spent troubleshooting, brainstorming, and acting as a point of contact between Operations and other departments.

How does your manager support you?

My manager supports me by training and coaching me on the job, and by having regular discussions about what’s going on. Whenever I have a problem, he always helps me find a solution.

What makes you proud to work here?

I’m proud of the teamwork I see every day, and the trust and encouragement you receive when you try to develop yourself outside your normal role.
