Tronox KZN Sands (South Africa) received the Partnership Award at the KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) Top Business Awards. The annual prizes, now in their tenth year, celebrate achievements in the public and private businesses in the province. The organization responsible for the accolades recognized 15 honorees in different categories. The Partnership Award reflects the importance of collaboration, partnerships, and ethical business practices.

The 2016 winners were announced at an award ceremony on July 28. The event included many industry leaders and community leaders from across the province.

“We believe that we need to communicate the importance of striving for success in South Africa, through transformation and innovation,” said Lalita Dhasiar-Ventura, co-publisher of the KZN Top Business Portfolio publication, the awards sponsor. “Traditionally, business awards are about financial returns, increased sales or market share. However, the honors recognize companies and organizations that integrate responsible business practice into their mainstream operations, which result in a positive impact in the marketplace, environment, community and workplace, creating a better life for all in KZN, to build an economy that creates opportunities for all,” added Dhasiar-Ventura.

Congratulations to our colleagues for this Olympic achievement.
