TRONOX R-FK-3
This rutile grade is surface treated with alumina, zirconia and dense silica, to give it very good lightfastness and weatherability. Its lightfastness and weatherability are higher than those of, for example, R-FK-2. Lead-stabilized rigid PVC pigmented with R-FK-3 shows no greying effect when used outdoors. R-FK-3 has a hydrophobic treatment, giving it very good wettability and dispersibility in plastics. R-FK-3 is especially recommended for all kinds of exterior plastics applications, such as rigid PVC for window profiles, agricultural film or polypropylene furniture.
