TRONOX CR-822
CR-822 is a silica/alumina-treated pigment that offers flexibility for multiple applications.
In plastics and rubber applications, it offers a clean blue undertone, excellent tint strength and ease of dispersion. It may be used in exterior plastics applications that require good color retention and non-chalking characteristics. This grade is recommended for use in vinyl siding and window profiles.
In coatings applications, it offers maximum non-chalking properties and a high degree of gloss and tint retention in exterior coating applications. This grade provides an optimal balance of good initial gloss, ease of dispersion, opacifying power and excellent exterior weathering properties. CR-822 is recommended for all interior and exterior enamels and lacquers in architectural, industrial and maintenance finishes. It also is an outstanding pigment for powder coating applications.
