Product Stewardship
Product stewardship is a product-centered approach to identify and manage the impacts that our chemical products may have on the environment and on the health and safety of persons associated with the production, handling, transportation, sale and use of our products.
Tronox conducts its operations in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and applies responsible standards where product safety laws and regulations do not exist.
Product stewardship creates value for our employees, customers, investors and the public. Components of good product stewardship include:
- Identifying and managing product safety considerations in the design, production, transportation, sale and use of the products
- Training company employees and contractors in good operating practices
- Communicating precautions to be taken in handling, transportation, use and disposal of products
- Providing support for our customers who have product safety questions or concerns
We are committed to doing these things, and we will continue to look for ways to meet our customers' needs, while enhancing the safety and environmental performance of our operations.
