TIO2 Approved End Uses

Tronox Titanium Dioxide pigment is not suitable for use as a direct additive in foods, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or medical applications. Tronox does not currently offer any titanium dioxide pigment grades that meet requirements for direct food applications and will not knowingly sell product into these end uses. However, many Tronox Titanium Dioxide grades are suitable for use in the packaging of these applications and meet requirements for use as an indirect food additive in adhesives, coatings, polymers, paper and paperboard.
