With over 50 years of operational success, Hamilton’s titanium dioxide (Ti02) manufacturing operation is the third largest of its kind in the world with annual production capacity of approximately 225,000 metric tons. We are a global supplier to the paint and plastics industry. The Hamilton site employs approximately 418 full-time employees and 110 contractors.
Safety and Environmental
The Hamilton facility is an OSHA STAR worksite. STAR is the highest level of recognition for outstanding health and safety management under the Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
Employees at the Hamilton location believe that all injuries, occupational illnesses and environmental incidents can be prevented. We place the safety of our employees, the protection of the community and the environment above commercial considerations.

Our Hamilton facility is governed by environmental requirements issued by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality for both the Pigment and Electrolytic production operations. In Hamilton, we recognize that excellence in environmental stewardship is paramount to our success.
Hamilton is ISO 9001 certified for quality management by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), a global non-governmental organization that promotes consistent standards and provides external oversight.

Community Involvement and Economic Impact
Hamilton employees actively support local United Way and other volunteer organizations.
Our Hamilton management team partners with a community advisory panel comprised of local business and community leaders. Meetings are held on a periodic basis to discuss plant activities, monitor safety and environmental issues and address any concerns in our community.
