Core Competitive Advantages

Tronox has several core competitive advantages that set it apart as an industry leader.

Superior Customer Service

Our innovative, experienced employees are the key to our success. We place priority on producing superior products for diverse markets, developing enhanced grades to meet future needs and providing reliable, consistent service to our customers in more than 100 countries. With dedicated, personal teams of sales, customer service and technical service representatives worldwide, we assist customers where they operate to help them achieve success with our products.

Proprietary Chloride Process

We are one of the few producers in the TiO2 industry to hold the rights to a proprietary chloride process that yields pigment grades with the highest brightness, preferred for many paint, coatings and plastics applications where the bright whites and clean blue undertones are important. From a business perspective, the chloride process offers lower fixed costs and greater flexibility in terms of expanding plant capacity for increased customer needs.

Global Operations

With pigment plants located in North America, Europe and Australia, our operations are strategically located to provide quality products, stable supplies and timely delivery to our customers around the world. Our global presence allows us to serve major markets and multi-national customers.

Research and Development

The scientists at our Research and Development Center work closely with our customers, production facilities and technical sales representatives to develop new pigment grades that meet customers' increasingly stringent technical requirements and address future needs.
